where we used to go for the District Conventions, as Jack Murphy Stadium (now called Qualcomm Stadium), but it used to get very hot there sitting in the sun. Here is a link to the convention. As you will see, people had these huge tarps to give them cover from the sun. One time, our congregation was given the assignment of watching the donation containers (this was at Dodger Stadium, btw), and we had great seats on the first tier and in the shade.

Here is a link to the St. Pete times about the owner of Lazy Days RV near Tampa. I have toured this place and it is amazing. One of the largest in the country. They have every kind of RV and vehicle to haul with you can imagine. They use little golf carts to tour you around the grounds. He is building a 40,000 sq. foot home on 200 acres. He has family members that are under arrest for extortion, but no mention if they are JWs.

Katherine is a phenomenal person - she's taking care of the kids like a Mother Goose, reading them stories and talking to them as they crowd around each other in a circle. Recently there was a article in the news covering the trial of two parents who neglected their baby and as a result the baby died. They are on trial for manslaugher. They don't believe in medical treatment, so instead they prayed for thier child to get better. Oregon passed a law in 1999 that prevents parrents like these, from using religion as a reason to neglect thier childrens health. This is perfect! I am so glad that states are stepping up and keeping parents in check when it comes...
