He was an elder i knew...and his wife was not a witness. He was a tyrant and she was a lovely lady. I cleaned thier windows and enjoyed having a cup of tea with her. She was heartbroken because her son was banished from the family. As a teenager he had done the unthinkable and rebelled against dads beliefs.

When the news came that she had hanged herself in the home i was truly shocked and saddened. People were shocked that such a lovely sweet lady could do such a thing....

Okay, before I ask my question please do not laugh to much at me. lol I saw the movie Paranormal Activity recently and this movie scared the Jebus out of me. I would just like to apologize to everyone being a little harsh the other day. Every now and then I get a bug up my ass and say exactly what I mean. Sigh. I really don't have a problem with Christians, at least not with 99.9% of them (but that other 0.1% are assholes ).

Isnt a disfellowshipping something thats done when a person isnt repentent?
Then why does it seem that some people are df then reinstated within a couple of months as things have come to light?
Also why can one person be put out for one thing and yet someone else remains in, and the df one was truly sorry.
Makes me angry.

Lets say the JW's are right about one thing.....a paradise without sickness, death, etc. The wits do not own the concept, because other Adventist type groups believe it too.
