Thanks guys! Joe, I am SO glad it's over!! I started in 2001, that was 7 years ago!! Now I have a couple more years ahead of me, but it'll be
fine-tuned and focused on what I really want to do. No more 'creating my major' hoo-ha. Still, I have learned so much and am so grateful to my
teachers, even the ones who taught the general ed classes that helped keep my perspectives varied and broadened.

Congrats Mig!
You've had a great year this year! Quitting the ciggies and also getting your bachelor's. I started my bachelor's when I was 18 but dropped in/out of classes and finally got it when I was 29. Then I am back again at 39 (more out of necessity than anything) for another round. But, you are probably more focused than ever. I think that the harder or longer we work for something, the more determined we get to make something out of it. Congrats again~ |

Congratulations. I am sure you will reap the rewards for all those years of hard work and dedication. That's a huge accomplishment!

Solitaire, what do you mean? I don't understand...your whole period of schooling? You're in 7th grade? Or are you going for your undergrad also?

Hi Mig - I wish I was still in 7th grade (lol) I'd definitely be the oldest one there!!! (only if I was born on a leap year!)
No, I just saw that in all you will have been studying for your degree a total of 9 years I was in school from 6 years old until I left at 15 yrs old to go pioneering a total schooling of 9 years only!!!
Congrats again hugs Sam |

Yup, it'll be 2 degrees in 2 more years. This one's a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Biology, the next will be a Master's in Physician Assistant
Studies, class of 2010. So you're correct, about 9 years.
I know what it's like, how it feels to have stopped schooling at such a young age. It's never too late! There is so much to learn about, so much to do. You just have to figure out your direction, and then formulate a plan. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help. School isn't for everyone, but it works well for me.
