I've got one major thing going for me now though, my new job comes with a free gym membership, Defined Fitness. Although labeled as more of a social club than weight lifting club, it's got a pool, hot tub, steam room and a lot of weights, oh and did I mention it's free.
I've decided to post this on the board because up until now I've never sought out people to cheer me on, as in usual JW recoving form I've always gone solo, worked out by myself, etc. But now I have at least two co-workers, one who already goes occasionaly, and one who decided to sign up after I did because he wants to loose weight....he's a big boy who gained his weight after he quit smoking; which I plan on doing very, very soon.
So I just weighed myself this morning and I'm sitting at 118lbs. I'll be going to the gym tonight and I'm planning on hitting some laps in the pool first so I can cool off and refresh after working in the hot sun all day. Going to drink a boat load of water today, got my protein powder all ready to go and wish me luck. I'll try to keep you updated to my progress, and of course any suggestions are welcome.
