Friday, July 13, I walked out on our front porch and there was a tiny little kitten. It started to zip away, but I called to it and it
came back. I did something I don't usually do, I picked it up. I usually don't touch strays for worries about rabies and cat diseases I could give to
my own cats. But for some reason I picked that poor little thing up. I couldn't believe how he cuddled against me. I was lost. This was it, we had a
new cat. My husband didn't argue with me at all, and cuddles the little guy too.
We took him to the vet the next morning. This poor kitten has giardia, eye infections, ear mites, and three ticks embedded in his neck, all in the same place.
They tested him for FL and FIV. He was clear of those, thank goodness. He got his first shot. He got four different meds for the things that ailed him.
Over the days he ate and ate and ate. And he grew, and he's growing.
To see the difference in him the day after we got him, and 13 days after we got him, go to:

It's the first two pictures. That second one, we did not pose him. He seems to have taken a cute pill along with all those other meds. LOL
Today he went back to the vet. He'd healed from everything that was wrong. He's doing great. He's a cuddly, sweet thing. And he's cost us
through the nose to get him to this point!
