You are all right, it is fun to speculate! I don't think it matters whether or not a paradise is possible -I think all things are possible. In the reality we know, though, it doesn't seem likely.

That's why I agree with Melanie, we should try to live this life to the fullest no matter what the afterlife brings!... Or what the JW say "might" happen.

If there is a God and he loves us like the Bible says he does... then we don't need to worry about our reward, great or small. We don't have to EARN his grace by devoting our lives to an organization. We don't have to be JW, but we don't have to abandon God altogether either.

Think about this...it's been said that we only use 10% of our brain...what if "paradise" is being able to use 100% of it! I am pro-life, I am pro-God, I am excited about the future, not because the JW tell me to be. I want to travel the world, see everything, experience everything! How many of you have traveled? What have you studied? We are so limited in what we can do, really, and have done. Our brains can't even fathem heaven if there is one.

Don't let me tell you what to think, or anybody, but, paradise and spaceships DO sound fun to me-all that happy happy joy joy talk is what got our grandparents and parents into this religion, wasn't it? Problem is, we don't have to be a JW slave to believe in a paradise or a heaven, or whatever.

Do unto others how we want others to do to us - not such a crazy idea. The answer is -there is no answer-but we should do all we can, while we can, to make THIS EARTH beautiful. It's not the Bible that's evil, it's the people who are using the Bible to control others that are evil. Don't let them steal your joy for life!
