Mistakes, which are often subjective and contextual, get a bad rap. They aren't always a reflection of the person, its just a reflection of where you are at a given time, a portrait. Ditto good decisions.

I was always so afraid of mistakes. They made such a big deal of them. It made me consistantly nervous. It didn't matter if you commited murder or got caught holding your boyfriend's hand. All mistakes were treated with, "you should know better before every one!" It creates this mindset of thinking everthing out so much you never do anything.

That is part of my problem now, trying to get myself to have some fun in life without contimplating (to death) every idea or suggestion that comes to me.
