My little spark of curiosity got me into loads of trouble and my Dad was forever being told to rein me in ... but luckily my Dad didn't think of me as goods and chattel and he let me be me. I think one of the most important things a person can learn when they leave the JWs is that there doesn't always have to be an answer "why" - and that's okay.
