"Why worship unless you are right?"

What is "worship"? I suppose (whatever it is) people engage in it because it gives them a sense of satisfaction (and "being right" is an intense satisfier for some), a sense of fulfilling an obligation (which is not a primary satisfier per se, but rather the avoidance of pain), or a sense of amelioration.

So, I would say that for many "right" isn't central to their reasons for worship - although there is likely a concurrent (perhaps subconcscious) element of "being right". It's not a necessary element. Many do what they consciously believe to be wrong, but which they find a sense of fulfilment in.

So I think there is more than one reason to worship - and sometimes the reason is probably "because everyone else is."
