Uh... I posted an 'answer' but it went away; must've moved the thread while I was typing. OK, I'm a little rusty - it has been over two years since my last meeting so I might be a little off on this (how tragic) - but here goes: Around 1995 they got 'new light' - probably because that 'generation' was gettin' on in years and they needed something to explain away why Armageddon hadn't come. So they reclarified the definition of 'this generation' to mean the 'wicked and adulterous class of people' - not a chronological generation but a 'type of person/personality' that was wicked and adulterous. Something like that. Again, I'd have to look it up but that's the basic thought. Which still doesn't make sense, and they even admitted in future KM articles five, six, even ten years later, that people were still confused about the definition. And trust me, there was more than one article 'explaining' it. But the explanations were so convoluted, that you really never walked out of a meeting feeling like, "Oh, I get it now..." More like, "Okay... I think..." image
