ATHEISM

The belief that there was nothing, and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs.

Makes perfect sense.
Atheism is the answer to only one question. Your attempt to debunk atheism by over generalizing, and throwing all of these 'beliefs' onto it is the very definition of a straw man argument. A straw man argument is an informal fallacy based on misrepresentation of an opponent's position. The study of the origins of the Universe is in Cosmology. The study of the origins of life (abiogenesis) is in Biology. Evolution is a branch of Biology that studies the origin of species by the way, not the origin of life.

Two can play the Straw Man game btw.. Your god is the very definition of a magician. One of numerous examples.. And God said, Let there be light: Presto! There was light! Talk about something from nothing! Atheism is not cosmology, evolution, or the study of the origin of life itself, it is non belief in a big giant head in the sky who simply wished everything into existence, and that is all. Even if there were no such thing as these branches of science mentioned above, I would still not fill in the gaps of the unknown with a magician.

Atheism is not a belief system. Even if someone absolutely denies your god exists that is but one belief, and doesn't warrant that tripe quoted above. Personally I simply do not believe your god exists. A position that takes no faith by the way. I hear people all of the time saying 'atheism takes faith too'. It takes no more faith to disbelieve in your god as it does to disbelieve in Zeus, Apollo, Odin, Thor, Allah, etc.. My position on religion is described best by the host of The Atheist Experience, at the begining of every show he says 'we stand for the separation of church and state.' Amen to that!
