Hi Javeca,

As you know I self identify as an atheist. Here is my answers to your points.

1. Atheists refuse to admit that atheism is a faith based belief

Actually I do believe it takes a measure of "faith" to be an atheist.  It might not be impossible to prove something does not exist, but personally I don't know of any logical way to prove non-existence of God.  Faith can be defined as believing in what is real before you have all the evidence (Heb 11:1). Faith in what is ultimately true will be rewarding. Faith in something that sounds nice, but ultimately is false, will lead to disappointment.

2. Atheists refuse to grant the same courtesies they demand of others in debate

The chap in the video did seem to get a bit frustrated and threw around the F-word several times. In any case, I hope it isn't true of me personally.

3. Atheism takes automatic assumption of intellectual superiority by portraying those that believe in a higher power as mentally damaged

Some atheists believe religion can be likened to a virus of the mind. In any regards ad hominem attacks don't make for logical arguments. Logically to believe belief in a higher power is a sign of mental damage would mean you believe the vast majority of the human race are mentally ill. I certainly don't believe that.

Cheers,
-Randy
