Javeca are you serious that atheism makes it possible to become genocidal monsters? Christians that go to war in the name of god? Presidents and world leaders that preach about God and values on the one hand then authorise the murder of thousands, if not millions of innocent people? Witch hunters of old all in the name of god? Suicide bombers in the name of god? and the list could go on and on! Even Sadaam Hussain, famous for mass genocide was all in the name of god! Good? Christians that kept slaves in the days of old, countries around the world that will cut off the hand of a thief in the name of a god, arranged marriages where women are nothing more than possessions in the name of their gods, and on and on and on, a multitude of atrocities in just about every religion that has ever existed!!!

No, I don't think that's what he's saying.  You need to read the words carefully:
I hold the opinion, base on interviews I have seen of prominent atheists, such as Dawkins, Hitchins and Smith, are extremely arrogant and bitter people. The most extreme being Madalyn Murray O'Hair, the founder of American Atheists, if the reports can be believed, she was noted to be brash, profane and vulgar, that she had a reputation for being abrasive and turning friends and allies into enemies, that she was notoriously tight-fisted and always looking for ways to enrich her empire.
What he's actually saying is that all Catholics are former Nazi, $5,000 red shoe-wearing, pedophile-enabling, ridiculous hat- and robe-wearing, petty tyrants.

Good thing I couldn't find a picture of Torquemada or an Inquisition butt 'pear', or I might have added a few things to my description of all Catholics.  Then again, Hitler was confirmed as a Catholic, and remained one til the day he died, so perhaps I should revise my description to be a little more inclusive.
