I'm now being called a troll by one JW. lol I will post her reply to me on here later. You will all find it amusing, I'm sure. She started out asking me questions, and when I tried to answer her, I was attacked by her and another JW. And they call me a troll? lol

Hi Troll ...

They must be VERY entertaining people to play with Michele!

Asking questions is a fairly innocent enough past-time UNLESS of course you're considered to be attacking the beloved JW faith.    We can't have that now can we!

I have had a few of my former JW friends ... as in they USED to be JWs ... ask if I was going to send in a letter 'for closure' and I said a resounding 'nup'.     I wouldn't give that lot the satisfaction of being able to twist my written words and conjure up an excuse to put more pressure on my JW parents.

Some people DO like the idea of disassociating themselves officially though ... for closure or other reasons.    In my viewpoint ... if someone was to send a letter of DA ... there shouldn't be any need to publicly announce anything at all or to encourage family members and former friends to stay away.    It should be taken at face value as in ... I don't believe in your religion and will no longer have anything to do with it.   Full stop.

Unfortunately letters of any kind are NOT taken on face value and even little gifts of a book and coffee voucher are returned without so much as a 'thank you very much but no thanks'.    How rude
