Hi there Stacy, nice to see you on our humble little forums

and was baptized at the age of 11 (This should be ILLEGAL!!!!).

That is the truth, I say. Glad I was never baptized but they sure tried! I know a girl who was baptized at 12 though. Just wrong if you ask me.

I still have residual mind-fucks popping up once in awhile like self-esteem related things from being rejected by my family at such a young age

This was the reason I left. If a religion makes family ignore/shun family it can't be the truth, no matter how positive a spin they try to put on it. "It's a loving punishment that allows them to return to Jahooplah" SHADDAFUKUP.

completely ignored me and SKIPPED me in the 'condolences line' and started shaking hands with my relatives (also, Non-JW's)... YOU WOULD NEVER SEE THIS BEHAVIOR IN "THE WORLD" (non-JWs)... EVER!

No shit, I agree. Yet another reason.

Who wants to spend eternity with a bunch of gossiping, garbage-spewing, self-righteous fatalists anyway?

Marry me.

This forum is all about finding out the truth about Jehovah's Witnesses. Why do they do the things they do? Are the doubts in your mind just satanic propaganda, or the truth?

A few important questions to ask yourself are; What is the purpose of the door to door ministry?  Why are people disfellowshipped in such a specific way? Why the shunning, and the entire "hunting them down" even if they just don't go to meetings? All three of those questions are answered in this topic right here. If you want the answers to those questions, read from the top of that page. After that, you can start from page one.

If you are someone who has any doubts, I recommend it as mandatory reading.
