Radical Acceptance and TRULY Unconditional Love pulled me out of the insanity...the knowledge that these qualities exist outside of the "organization". Meeting people who weren't part of ANY religion yet still showed incredible moral/ spiritual strength was what ultimately KILLED the lingering belief in the JW's idea of "Truth".

Before I say anything else, I invite you to read my story. http://exjehovahswitnessf...fe-story-Med-Long?page=1

I have, in the last four months, met a lot of family members I didn't even know existed. My mom kept me very secluded and such (Details in the quoted topic) and she told me lie after lie and I believed all of them. Well except for one lie which was so positively absurd that.... well the sun would rent in two if I said it, so I won't, but believe me it was absurd. Some of them were about the grandma I'm now living with. Here's a handful.

"Your grandma Marlene is an atheist, and she hates Jehovah with a passion! She is the epitomy of evil!" Not true. My grandma actually had no opinion of JW's at all when I moved in and if anything had only good opinions of them because I was really the only witness she ever knew, and I was sweet and polite.
"Your grandma used to be me black and blue, and she has even chipped pieces of my teeth on certain occasions!" This is just such BS there's no way to explain it.
"Your grandma hurled/pushed/knocked me into a fire when I was two and I have scars on my legs to prove it!" ... ... ... My mom fell in. It was an accident and my grandma wasn't even home when it happened. My mom was being babysat by her aunt. >_>
"Your grandma has dentures!" (Lol not true XD)

Took me 6 months just to dispell those lies, and then let's not forget 18 years of indoctrination into a cult of omega powah! FIYAPOWAH JAH! Once I realized JW's only had 100% conditional love, and outside people had REAL love, that was the kicker. I have not looked back since then

This forum is all about finding out the truth about Jehovah's Witnesses. Why do they do the things they do? Are the doubts in your mind just satanic propaganda, or the truth?

A few important questions to ask yourself are; What is the purpose of the door to door ministry?  Why are people disfellowshipped in such a specific way? Why the shunning, and the entire "hunting them down" even if they just don't go to meetings? All three of those questions are answered in this topic right here. If you want the answers to those questions, read from the top of that page. After that, you can start from page one.

If you are someone who has any doubts, I recommend it as mandatory reading.
