Hmm .... stubborn weeds! I'm not sure what to suggest ..... dig them up, poison them and then poison them again I guess.

naughty little seed!

I had a drama with my tomatoes this past week or so Sammy. Beautiful lush green leaves ... lots of baby tomatoes growing (all cherry types) ..... then the leaves started withering and dried up .... but the tomatoes are still hanging in there. Most odd. My SIL has the same problem with hers ..... yet we have used different soil ... I washed out my pots before using them ... have kept the watering to the usual!
Okay.

A few questions.

1: What parts soil , potting mix and compost type material did you use in the pot?

2: Did the die back start with the yellowing of leaves from the bottom tiers upwards or visa versa?

3: Have you grown tomatoes in that pot successfully before?

I do understand that WA experienced many consecutive days with excessive heat . It might well have been a case of heat stress and the shallowness of a pot dried out too often through out a day to keep the plants alive on this occasion and through that temp range.
