Yes it does.

It's hard starting over again with meeting new people and starting friendships...but I've found that when you actually get to choose your friends, not be forced to "associate" with people, you get very close to people and it feels like you've known them for years. And then I hope for you, like what happened to me, that I've reconnected with old df'd/inactive JW friends from the far past. That has been fantastic!

And don't get your hopes up that she'll still maintain being shaken about the UN thing. Her first reaction was the real one, the one that should tell a person how wrong things are. Then she'll talk to them, get the stupid version where they justify, and she'll suddenly be 'o.k.' with it.

Remember you don't have to answer your door/phone if they come looking! Your life is none of their business. Especially with you having been out for so long.
