Quite frankly, the site isn't secure at all when it comes to who gets to read what is posted.  If you don't want your identity known, do not give too much personal information.  There have been incidents where posters on boards like this one were "outed" due to someone who knew them "tattling."

As far as bethel hackers taking the time to infiltrate our site... it's possible.

Forums like this allow for a certain amount of anonymity.  People tend to feel more secure talking about their feelings if no one knows who they are.  That's why your real name is not required.  smiley: smile

We do have the "Free and Clear" board, which is restricted to those with at least 100 posts and requires an administrator to allow access.  This gives our posters a place to discuss topics which might identify them if someone they knew were to read it.  So far it's worked pretty well.
