WTFrick? What good does it do to ask to be put on a DNC list when this crap happens anyways?
I guess you forgot to tell them to add you to their "Do not write" list! smiley: roll

Might need to go on their "Do not email", "Do not text" & "Do not FB me" lists as well. smiley: eek Maybe we could get them to start one new all encompassing list called "LEAVE ME THE PHUCK ALONE" list. Maybe that would work out better.

Oh well. At least the letter was super generic and didn't get into specifics. Just throw it away and move on. I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it. They just picked up a local telephone book and sent this exact same letter out to 50 other people so they could get their 30 hours or whatever it is in for FS.
LOL! Remember when we were taught to ignore "No Trespassing" and "No Soliciting" signs because we were just "calling on our neighbors" or some such bullsh*t??? I can see the brother speaking on this in the Ministry School now---"if the householder didn't specifically state "do not CALL", let's be THOROUGH in our ministry and write those letters!"

Just joking, though. I wouldn't worry about it either.

Now, if you have a bizarre situation like my MIL's---further action might need to be taken. She'd gotten a couple of letters AND visits, then after she politely refused, the JW left a letter in her mailbox stating that she was NOT going to stop contacting her even if she asked her to stop, because she was directed by Jehovah to call on her smiley: alien

P.S. Thankfully, nothing ever happened w/that situation. The family was VERY concerned--I read the letter and it was a tad, errr...."special". The woman never made good on her manifesto (threat?). Who knows, maybe somebody else was a recipient of her letters and the resulting police involvement had the elders quickly nipping it in the bud....it's entirely possible.
