Hi Wingnut. I sure can relate to what you are saying. I was also actively in the JW's for 25 years (not counting being born into it.......baptised at 16) and have been out 12 years now. I have a lot of 'friends' through my work but not the close relationships of long time friends who really know where I'm coming from. When I come home I also am at the age of wanting to turn off and chill. I think I may do that a little too much these days because at times I do get hit with a sense of loneliness.
Libra logic is right about the 'getting out' part and BTW Welcome3 Libra!  I've been reading your posts and agreeing with a lot of your insights.

The trouble is, I think it really does get harder to do all that with the passing of years.  10 years ago I had lots more energy than I have now at 54.  Wingnut, maybe we're just in a slump and it will pass........Dazed053

Oh, about Michelle Bachman, I HEAR YOU THERE!  I think because we have come from a fundy religion and then seeing these sanctimonious religious people who want to run the country we KNOW where that is going!  It's damn scary.  Just wanted to put that in............you can rant all you want here.

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.
