You go right ahead and rant and rave all you want!  We know how you feel.  My parents are in their late 70's and it is sooo sad every time I talk with them.  All they talk abut are their latest service experiences and how many exciting bible studies they have and how inactive Sister P. is studying again because the only reason she left was because she was suffering from depression.

Then if I talk about ANYTHING, my mom esp. acts as bored as can be and quickly changes the subject back to how tired she is after her long day in service and how next week is the circuit overseer's visit.  Then we say goodbye.

Because the alternative would be for me to finally let it all out Arggh9Addemoticons04212Pullhair .  Once in a great while I start to, but she is so frightened of hearing me say things that would cause her to put me once and for all in the "apostate" category that mostly I just let her go on and act polite and pretend I care about her theocratic activities.

I know it's hard.  That's an understatement, I know. Hang in there!
