Oh yes, some of the stories in the bible. My personal favorite is the israelite prophet Hosea who was commanded by Jehovah to go out and marry a pagan prostitute and expect Hosea to forgive her and love her after her open adultress affair just so Jehovah could show the israelites that even though they leave him for false gods he will still love them and take them back. It is shame for such service he is only regarded as a minor prophet. I personally think he should be bumped up to a major prophet. After all, the man probably had to endure daily laughter and snickers from the men in the village more so than the other prophets.
