I'm so happy for you! I forget your age, are you starting college a bit early? If so, just realize it may seem a bit overwhelming, the amount of homework and stuff. That doesn't mean it can't be done! It's just, especially compared to homeschooling, you may feel some pressure, but if you get with it and stick with it, or even if you procrastinate but then spend an entire weekend catching up, whatever, you'll make it, just don't let it make you overwhelmed. They say the first year is the toughest, and I don't know if its just that you get used to it after that, or if they purposely make the first year the hardest to kind of weed out some, but I know you will love it. And you will have the freedom to make friends and all, since you are no longer under the jw mindset. Enjoy! (Oh, I did forget that sometimes to a jw, with all the studying we were always expected to do, it may make college seem easier than it seems to other people!)

Yes, I am starting early; I'm 16. I'm going through a degree completion program that will get me both my high school diploma and my AA degree in two years. I've only got two classes this semester(not including a 2-day first aid class next month), as I was a new student; since returning students get priority registration there were not many classes left over that I was interested in by the time registration was open to me. I'm under no illusion that it will be easy though, I've already got lots of reading to do before class tomorrow night. I do enjoy reading though, even if it isn't the most interesting material, so I think I'll manage to do alright and I'll be trying my hardest smiley: ohwell
