I did take private lessons a couple years ago, I just failed to pick it up. I would be willing to give it another go though.. I think it was in part because of his teaching methods. He moved very fast. He'd tell me to learn something by next week, and then when next week came we'd run through it once or twice and move on, and while I would be able to play the simple pieces, I just couldn't keep up with him. I could follow the music and play the notes, but I wanted to be able to play something with full sound instead of just picking at a string or two at a time, but it never went beyond that before I quit. I quite after 4 months because it was just too much on my plate at the time, pioneering/school/working and I needed to lighten my load.

I'll remember to sign up for daytime classes next semester haha, thank you for that. As for lying about what I'm taking, that wouldn't work. I've signed paperwork so that my dad has rights to access and change my class schedule, and in fact he's pretty insistent on being involved in the entire enrollment process. I'm obviously incapable of being responsible for my own decisions, you see. As far as the bill goes, the Running Start program funding enables me to take up to 15 credits per semester at no cost.

It's funny how someone can break your heart, but you can still love them with all the little pieces.
