Yeah they will always be able to twist anything in order to not think about how someone can be successful outside the religion.  And if I think of myself?  I'm kind of the same outwardly.  Nothing really changed about my status...my work...my money situation...it sucks but it's the same as it ever was!  The big difference is how I feel.  The freedom of thought, the lack of fear in having a real opinion and learning things...that is what I would try to get across.

Of course, they'd probably just say it's all show, an act, to try and act tough.  That "deep down I know it's the truth".  smiley: sick  At least I know the truth.

“This I believe: That the free, exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world. And this I would fight for: the freedom of the mind to take any direction it wishes, undirected. And this I must fight against: any idea, religion, or government which limits or destroys the individual.”

-John Steinbeck
