Oh big congrats on the new grandie Coffee .... how many does that make now? I imagine the news is bittersweet given it didn't come from the mummy-to-be herself ....... so sad that it has to be that way. Maybe she will relent and send you some photos of the new little one. It cannot be easy for you. Bloody religion!

Anti-depressants work better if combined with some good old fashioned counselling ...... so I'm pleased you've gone and got yourself some extra help. When Gav had depression (work related) .... he was so much better off once he had a few chats with a Clinical Psychologist. She helped him form some strategies to deal with things and how to talk about his issues with me rather than hide them from me. Sad thing was ... I knew what he was going through but couldn't do a thing until he was ready. Life eh

Sometimes it's not a specialist we need more than that someone 'on the outside' to talk it all through with. It's hard for non-jdub people to understand the depth of damage the religion and its shunning strategy can do ...... but it's not impossible for them to understand and come up with ways to help us work through things. Good luck on your next visit mate. Just take a deep breath and let things come out naturally ...... and then take it from there.
