Welcome to the forum Tnt. As stated before, yes most all of us have had social anxiety while and after leaving the Borg. I started my fade when I was 56 years old and have found it hard to make friends since coupled with leaving a cult such as the Borg and my age it can be difficult. However, you don't seem to have that problem and I applaud you for having the strength to leave at your age. You have a life time to recover from the damage caused by this cult. Just be patient with yourself and take one step at a time. Work on befriending one person and things will begin to fall into place. I can count three "real" friends to my credit since leaving the Borg. It is not a lot but is enough. I also count those on this board as friends but not in the same since as call them up and go out to eat kinda friendship. This board is very helpful and the people here are not judgmental. This is at a time in your life when it counts. Do your research, reach out to people and experience life. You are not the person in the wrong the Borg members are. Hang in there it does get better. :) ((HUGS))
