Nauseating, isn't it? But it IS a way of life with them. The Pioneer school they get training at must provide info on that 'cause so many able bodied ones are living in housing meant for the disabled.

TRUE STORY #1: One particularly obnoxious sister I know is a pioneer who qualifies to live for Federal housing assistance because her income was so low. How is that? She, fully capable of performing either of the two (2) different careers the government paid to train her at, chooses to work only at part-time jobs so she can make the Watchtower's 30 hours per month for Pioneers.

THIRTY hours a month! As in ONE (1!) LOUSY HOUR A DAY !!!

CRIPES!  It's likely most of us spend more time than that just keeping up with daily chores, cooking, shopping, and commuting--AND put in an 8-10 hour work day.

Her rent is $200+ per month while hard-working families living in the same complex are paying at least three times that amount. Why? Because they do not have the benefit of advice from "Jehovah's Organization" on exactly how to screw the taxpaying public to whom they preach. Lovely folks, aren't they?

TRUE STORY #2: Several years ago I became in involved in a situation where an elderly sister had run up debts beyond her ability to repay. I suggested that she contact each lien holder to arrange payments that fit in her small budget. The elders of her congregation, however, had two Pioneer sisters advise her NOT TO PAY any of those bills. "After all, Armageddon is coming soon."  Guess whose advice she took?

It's been years and that poor old lady is still afraid to answer the phone for all the collection calls. They've gotta' be asking where is Armageddon when you want it?
