I updated the news fader at the "JWs in the News" board with the following message, in red, as a small public service:

**NEWS FLASH**
The documentary filmmaker Joel P. Engardio is currently producing a film entitled "Knocking,"
which portrays the Jehovah's Witness sect in a favorable light.
We who have suffered psychological, or even physical abuse, within the Jehovah's Witness sect,
deplore that the JWs should be falsely portrayed as positive force within society.
Thousands of children have died for lack of a blood transfusion because of the JW belief
that to receive a blood transfusion is a violation of God's law.
Pedophiles and rapists within Jehovah's Witness congregations are not reported to authorities,
because the JWs believe that such matters should be handled internally
and not reported to the secular authorities (although they publically profess to be law-abiding).
Women who have been raped by male members of the congregation have been
expelled from the organization, for refusing to "let the matter go," when so instructed by Jehovah's Witness elders.
Jehovah's Witnesses are an APOCALYPTIC cult that utilizes fear and pyschological manipulation
to ensure compliance among its members.
They believe that all humans who have heard their message and have opted not to join up
will die at God's great battle, Armageddon, and that birds will pick their bones clean.
(Yes, this means you).
You see, to the Jehovah's Witnesses, there are only three kinds of people:
Jehovah's Witnesses, potential converts, and the mass of doomed humanity.
This is the religious sect that Joel Engardio chooses to portray as a positive force in society.
"Knocking" will air on PBS, on a date not yet announced.
