I'm with you Stacy. It's amazing how much more clearly things can be seen without the veil the WTS shrouds everything in. When I look back, I envision myself actually picking up their veil and putting it over my own face to see the world as they wanted me to. Scary. And if you get to talk to one of them, you can see that veil going over their eyes as they glaze over. Double weirdness.

Superslave, forgive yourself. We all did it. Some of us were stupid enough to do it as adults, me included in that. I think new people going in are in a vulnerable place in life and the lovely people at the door offer a way to find joy and inclusion in something wonderful. They offer unconditional love. It takes a while to recognize that it was all a facade, and by then it is hard to get out. But once you rip that veil off, and move forward, wow, it's amazing how bright colors are again!
