When I first started going the book studies were used to study the most tedious prophecies, Fred Franz's ramblings in books like 'God's eternal purpose triumphing' a book which half way through you needed specs because the type changed size! There were some shockers, and we were always told that unless we learned that 'deeper' stuff, we would stay spiritual babes. My general thought on those books were that the writers had said why use 10 words to explain something when you can use a thousand. .x

I hated the Revelation book, because they tried to decipher virtually every word in Revelation and it got ridiculous with its suggestions of prophecies being fulfilled by Watchtower articles!!

The worst book in recent times was Isaiah. That guy must have been the most boring person on earth. I mean, imagine listening to a talk at the KH and the brother spends the whole hour with one illustration after another..trees, mountains, animals, kings..on and on he goes to prove one point. After a while you would want to scream at him and say 'OK, I GET IT!'
That's what Isaiah does.

I didnt like that study much... it always messed up the evening.. Just an hour, but somehow your whole evening was gone....yuk.
