Amanda,

You mention AA and NA not being needed but that a support group is. I just don't know where else tto find a support group for addiction but those places. Physical addiction is the least of the problems with drug and alcohol abuse. I won't argue that there are a ton of jag offs in 12 step programs but for me personally I don't know anything else that would work. I tried everything else I could too because having been at my first AA meeting when I was 6 years old I despised the idea and hated every fabric and word that AA represented. I just am making an issue of this because with addiction you are truly dealing with life and death. You hang around recovery groups enough and you can get a better idea of how bad it is. I don't go to the hospitals or funerals because it is simply a matter of willpower IMHO and it is only that. I have had to get the phone call from a mother reviving her son from an overdose on heroin telling me he is in the hospital and visiting him and having him cry in my arms just saying he doesn't know why he can't stop. So I do have a strong opinion on the issue right wrong or indifferent.

And even if Jehovah witness, bet he'll never testify, D'Evils...
