How do we start over when we've left the JW religion? We're usually a little bruised and battered emotionally ... so we need to take time out for ourselves without feeling guilty! Take a few deep breaths and remember there IS life after religious 'death'! Not all 'worldly' people are out to attack us, take away our innocence or tempt us into wrong-doing ... in fact many of them are sympathetic and willing to lend a hand!

My advice is to never second guess your decision to leave! You did so for whatever reason or reasons ... and in your heart you'll know if you've made the right move! I feel sorry for those who stay in a religion and pay lip service to it ... purely because they're too frightened to make a stand! It takes courage to leave ... and strength to stay out!

Christopher Robin from AA Milne's classic tale "Winnie The Pooh" once said to Pooh Bear ... You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think!. That goes for anyone brave enough to make a stand in their own personal life!
