Chapter One says God, in his image created male and female... and God addressed them equally.

Chapter Two goes on and on about creating woman from man's rib, God saw that the Man needed a helper, etc.. Adam gets to talk and names her "flesh of my flesh".

Most people seem to remember Chapter Two.

It is not just about sex. Although it is interesting that when the bible talks about women "laying" with men, that can refer to rape - not a preference of sexual position. Maybe Lilith just thought Adam was a complete asshole, and didn't want anything to do with him, in any position.
