Thank you all for the birthday greetings, and sorry for not getting back here until now. I won't belabor with all the details of my work projects, now, but they take up most of my days and part of my nights....

Here are a three pictures, which is pretty much the sum total of what got taken on that day. The first is me, I call it "Beware non-Greeks bearing Gyros." The second is what I ate at St. Sophias. The third is what my sister-in-law had at the Colophon Cafe: it's called "Chocolate Decadence," and consists of an enormous slab of triple layer Devil's Food cake impregnated with chocolate chips, to which is added the vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. I've never seen anyone finish it, but she swore she could on a dare, if I paid for it.

She didn't finish it.

Otherwise, we strolled around Fairhaven and ended up on the Village Green listening to this guy play a sax accompanied by a karaoke machine he brought along; tunes like "That Old Black Magic."
