As I keep lacking the time to read up and post much here, I figured the least to do was keep you all updated on some music I'm working on. Currently
I'm in a small projectgroup plannng to make a videogame, got asked to write the score, so I've been sketching for a few days. We're still in a very
early stage, as the real work has only begun two weeks ago. As of now I've got a few definite thematic sketches coming along, but nothing final yet.
Anyho here are they, open for comments and changes!

That's the first sketch, during which the introductory movie should play, gone for a bit of a 'pleasant tension fantasy feel'. It carries the main theme that will reverberate throughout the soundtrack.
www.paintingmonkeys.com/The_Green_Hills.wma
This is a general sketch for a countryside/soothing background music type. It carries a variation on the main theme.

Of course there are dark, tense caverns to explore, filled with mystery and monsters. One of the thematic ideas to work out for those situations.
www.paintingmonkeys.com/GameOver.wma
And of course there's the tune for when you die. Though I've elaborated this sketch way way further than I should have. This will probably be used for a dramatic moment in the main storyline, in adapted form of course.
Feel free to lay down any ideas and/or suggestions, they are more than welcome
.
Take care all,
Paul
