Just a quick note to all of those who were worried we might not make it. My love discovered that his mother was still communicating with his ex-wife behind his
back (despite his requests more than a year ago for both parties to cease and desist). That was enough aggravation for him to sit down, confront his mother and
"let it all out", so to speak. He made it clear that I am the woman he truly loves and plans on having kids with, and that she can choose how/whether
she wants to be a part of our lives. He praised me and our love while being the bigger person towards her and her "holier than thou" shit. He also
brought up the horrible incident years ago (with the "you better not marry or have kids" (cuz I'm a Jew) comment and how if she truly knew her
son she'd realize how happy, loved and supported he is with me and my family... (as opposed to the mediocre hilarity of his previous
"relationship").
I can't tell you what a relief to know that he has my back and has clearly chosen his side, (even if it means he'll lose his job in the process).
It looks like this story might truly have a happy ending after all!
Thanks for all your kind support and strength..
PS-Explain to me why if his mom said, "i have to draw the line somewhere" in her relationship with her kids who are no longer a part of the church... why is she able to converse with the ex-wife (who's not even a JW, just a wannabe fair-weather christian)???
