So we had this guy in our old hall, and I found out recently that he was convicted of a sexual crime of some nature a number of years ago. He goes to the
meetings every Sunday but isn't baptized, I don't think he totally agrees with all the JW teachings but likes "having his ears tickled" as
they would say. Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone knows if the elders are legally obligated to inform parents of this fact. The congregation I was in has
MANY small children, and there was honestly always something really weird about this guy.
Any law buffs know if notifying the parents is required by law?
BTW- the elders do know about this, I asked my Dad if they did and he said they did, but when I asked him if the parents of small children knew about it he simply said "the elders are taking care of it." Just thought I'd add that part in lol.
