Hi,
I just disassociated myself after 30 years of servitude. However, even after having read both of Ray Franz' books I still have some issues as I continue to read my Bible. For instance, in 1st Timothy it still speaks of elders and servants and that seeking those offices is a good thing. This to me implies that back then, there was an organizational structure, which is not what I've come to learn recently. I agree that there is only One way to God, but Paul was writing to congregations such as Ephesians, Corinthians and Colossians, etc. It's not that I need an organization, but can someone reconcile this issue for me?
