Jehovah's Witnesses, I mean, Scientologists, want to keep certain information to themselves, act all offended if you ask a question about their beliefs,
and insist that everything take place on their terms.... And will shun you if you turn against them. SP's or Apostates? Disconnection or disfellowshipping?
Families broken apart by a tax exempt psuedo religion started by an American nutcase?
C U L T No cell phone, internet, or TV... Wow... Wow, these guys are just like Jehovah's Witnesses, just a different kind of clothing, same wolf underneath

I was reading into these people the other day. They have a form of disfellowshiping called disconecting. The more i research into other religion especially the
smaller one the more i see the sinister cultish similarities to the one we have all left.
Its a shame JW's cant view this materiel and see these similarities but unfortunately i am sure it will prove its the truth more and i suppose likewise for other cult members. Its a bit of an fucked up world when you think about it.....but hey the more the internet spreads hopefully the more people will start seeing these things for themselves and seeing the damage of any organized religion full stop. |

I wonder if the Borg and the Scientology leadership meet to discuss tactics.

The thing that struck me the most is the way the Scientologist being interviewed absoloutely refused to be confronted with anything that might remotely result
in him questioning his faith. Brainwashing at work in its creepiest and most insidous (and effective ) mode - self monitoring and censorship. Exactly the same
way we refused to be confrontedwith or contemplate information that would question, test or damage our indoctrinated beliefs and faith.

Lol...
That first clip reminded me of a political interview, whereby the interviewer asks a straight-forward question, but the respondent replies saying something like: " Well that's not the central question, the central question we really ought to be asking ourselves is...." When it comes to religion and politics, discomfort and evasiveness is always a dead give-away, and if ever one needed evidence that these institutions are essentially all about manipulation and control, these kind of interviews supply that evidence in abundance. That is to say that religious representatives and politicians alike, don't really struggle with 'yes' or 'no' answers.....they just struggle with yielding control and accidentally blundering into a state of true accountability. They've got a sixth sense which alerts them whenever they may be in danger of drifting away from being an 'authoritative' agent, to being an accountable agent, and that's why they often get uncomfortable, and attempt to block the enquiry. We often see the exact same thing occur on this very forum within debates. " I notice you didn't even bother answering so much as one of the twenty questions I asked you..." THAT kind of thing. But the really funny thing is that evasive people don't seem to realise just how transparent their evasiveness makes them appear to others. What I mean is.....an evasive person mistakenly thinks that by dodging a question, they actually dodge a bullet, but they don't. Instead....people who are either reading a debate or watching an interview, suddenly take their attention off the actual 'questions' being asked, and then re-focus their full attention on the air of discomfort and general spirit of evasiveness the question was met with. So not answering questions doesn't really serve any purpose if ones purpose is to represent ones beliefs in a favourable, convincing light. A typical example of this would be when a Jehovah's Witness is asked: " Come the hour, do you believe that Jehovah's Witnesses alone will be saved by God, and that all others will be destroyed?" Now we all know that the answer to this should be a resounding YES, [without any need for pause] because this is a core belief within the J.W manifesto. However, even your average J.W will often sniff entrapment within this kind of question, knowing full well that the 'yes' answer might sound highly unpalatable to the uninitiated ear. So if a person isn't willing to allow themselves to be lured into the kind of theological 'fog' that surrounds the belief system first.....it's unlikely that they'll ever be granted the courtesy of a straight answer to a straight question.
