My daughter told me some were saying on this board, and I have since read it myself mentioned here or there, that at the last district convention, I think it
was, it was supposedly stated that anyone who has ever married someone who was not a jw will not live in paradise. They are automatically doomed becaused they
didn't obey Jah. (Even though doing so was not a df'ing matter.) Is that true? Has anyone else heard that was said at the convention? Or was it that
in the future it will now be a df'ing matter, so anyone who does so in the future would lose out. At least that would make a little more sense than saying
any in the past are doomed. It was supposedly even if the spouse eventually became a jw, then they would be saved, but their jw spouse wouldn't? That would
mean that one lady I know who has pioneered for 30 years now, is doomed. Makes no sense.
A side thought, isn't it sad that the religion has such crazy teachings that we even have to wonder if this kind of thing is true, because we know it is possible. lol in disgust.
