Silver Level Member Posts: 31 (02/05/12 21:17:28) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My teenage daughter came home crying one day from service because she didnt like phone witnessing and when she didnt want too do it so one Ministerial servant drew a picture of a chicken and colored the belly yellow and said this is you! Then the Elder in the group said in front of everyone else I should have know you wouldnt cooperate! She was a pioneer just didnt want too do it on the phone! Then they were bewildered when she left the religon and is now df and Happy!

Posts: 13231 (02/06/12 01:03:57) Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	It was ALL about bullying!!! there were very few people who actually enjoyed going door to door and getting abused..........my worst bullying time came after my jw mum died........I had been a regular pioneer and told them I had to stop doing it for a while......a) because I had taken on the mantle of looking after the house and my 'worldly' father and working........and b) because I just felt too vulnerable at that time to be out knocking at doors... Their reply was that I should remember that although my jw mum was now guaranteed a place in the new system, I was not!!! And their loving words were that if I wanted to be sure I would see her again, what better way than continuing to give my all to jehovah by carrying on pioneering Of course their total lack of compassion and empathy drove me in the totally opposite direction.........how the hell can they not see that beating someone when they are down is not the way to retain members???

This type of behaviour brings much needed 'reproach'(TM) on the brand name imaginary god of the watchtower corporation. Often these MS's and eldubs are dumbclucks! They'd never get the kind of power and presitge they get in the corporation they volunteer for anywhere else in life. Give a couple of unintelligent janitors power and this is what happens. They act the mental age they are. No wonder the WBT$ is desparate to get 'qualified men'(TM). They've run out and are down to the dregs of humanity. I was hugely self conscious, desperately lonely and just wanted to fir in at my new high school. So we get out the car me protesting cos it was a neighbourhood where I knew people from my school would be, I saw this lad germaine in my year at school, you know the kind, carelessly popular, all the girls loved him. Anyway, he wasnt nasty or owt just saw me and walked on, but i KNEW I would get ridiculed at school so cried like mad till my mum took me home. I NEVER went on the ministry again after that. Abusive abusive F~@@ers making me go through that!!! I dont care if the stars dont shine, and I dont care if nothing is mine, I dont care if i'm nervous with you, I'll do my loving in the winter

There was some scripture, I think it was in Ezekial, about blood guilt for not warning the wicked. Talk about manipulation and psychological control!

How caring and understanding she was.

I very nearly lost my temper but I felt it was Jah's Org at the time so I didn't tell him that my shoes wouldn't need to be shine for where they're about to go. The ministry was always uncomfortable but talking to people I didn't know was only part of the problem. What nagged me in the back of my mind was that, as a publisher, you're kind of deceptive about your reason for 'calling on your neighbours'. In restrospect, if I could have said to people: "Hello, I am here to recruit you to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Would you be interested to know what we believe?" I would have been a lot more comfortable. Instead we had to start discussions about various random topics out of the blue. That's part of why I felt a little sick whenever someone answered the door.
