I overheard a conversation my mother was having with another "lifer" J-dub this week about the problems they're having getting their monthly magazines from the org. It seems that their congregation isn't receiving shipments of new mags from the org very often. They were complaining that they're having to use last month's magazines because they didn't receive a shipment of this month's magazines yet. Apparently, even when they do get a new shipment, there aren't enough to go around. From what I heard, they were told by the CO not to complain about not getting timely shipments from the society. Of course, they were told that Joho is supervising the whole operation and everything is happening for a good reason, so there's no reason to question. Hmmm... is the org printing less due to financial difficulties? Are they cutting corners to save money? It just seems strange that they're cutting the magazine supply to all their little salespeople. Or maybe they're just being run by incompetent idiots!
P.S. How are all the little sheep ever going to get a college education if they can't read the current WT and Awake?!
