This past Saturday was Amber's prom. She went with her boyfriend, James.
I think she looked so beautiful. She's 16 now, I can't even believe it.
We're starting to look at colleges now since this fall she'll be a senior. We're looking at physician assistant degrees.
Amber wanted to be a doctor but I told her physician assistants are like doctors,
only a little less schooling and whole lot less student loan debt. I reminded her that she doesn't have to make her mind up yet,
she may decide she wants to go in a different direction when she starts college, so give herself time to see how she likes the classes.
We'll see. So happy my girls get the opportunities I never did. They are going to do things the RIGHT way.
These are on the dock behind James' house. It was very windy. Amber had her hair straightened and the wind
pretty much ruined it, but it didn't matter. They were enjoying themselves.
They say dyslexics look at the world differently, and they are so right.
Amber's sister Karen, who is dyslexic took these two photos.
