I almost posted this on the Cheerful News yesterday because it went above freezing here yesterday. Unusual for January in Saskatchewan, a gorgeous almost spring like day. Beautiful.
And now, today, we are in the midst of a Blizzard. A real doozy of one. The temperature has dropped down into the minus 40's (celcius) and the visibilty is zero. Holy crap, did it ever blow in fast.
I love Saskatchewan, never a dull moment. Who said the Prairies were boring?
*sigh*
...daffodils bloomed five months early in the United Kingdom this year
...it snowed in Baghdad last month
...January tornadoes in the US
...record cold temperatures in Siberia
...my bird went into mating season three months early
...my friend's budgies laid eggs
But, all is well...everything is normal now, a January Saskatchewan blizzard is about right.
Holy crap - it's getting worse!
Dianne
